DJ & Mixing or Music Production — both run in-person at our Melbourne studio. Fully equipped, fully accessible, and built around you and your NDIS goals. No experience required.
Hands-on DJing and live mixing in our fully equipped studio. From the first time you touch the decks to performing your own set — this program takes you all the way there, at your own pace.
Tactile, immediate, and deeply satisfying — DJing is one of the most effective formats we run for building focus, sensory regulation, and genuine confidence in people who haven't responded to traditional supports.
Get comfortable with the gear — cueing, playing, navigating. Zero experience assumed.
Tempo, phrasing, transitions. The craft of moving seamlessly between tracks.
Shape and colour your sound in real time with filters, effects, and EQ.
Curation, energy, structure. Build a real set and perform it.
The feedback loop between action and sound is almost instant — which makes it uniquely effective for building focus, sensory regulation, and emotional regulation in people who haven't connected with traditional supports. Neurodivergent participants in particular often find it clicks in a way nothing else has.
It also builds community. The studio becomes a shared space where music is a common language and isolation starts to shrink.
Beat making, sound design, arrangement, and music production using Ableton Live and FL Studio. Start with one 10-week block and see where it takes you. Come back for a second block and go deeper — more technical, more advanced, more you.
Everything is provided on-site. No prior music knowledge needed. Just the curiosity to make something.
Beat making, sampling, sound design basics, DAW navigation, and building your first arrangements.
Deeper arrangement, mixing, mastering, AI tools, and completing a full production-ready track.
Rhythm programming, drum patterns, groove, and swing.
Synthesis, sampling, and shaping sounds from scratch.
Song structure, progression, and building a full track.
Polishing your track so it's ready to share with the world.
The process of building a track from scratch — planning, making decisions, handling frustration, feeling the satisfaction of finishing — is an exercise in executive function, emotional regulation, and sustained focus that can't be replicated in a classroom.
Block 1 gives participants a strong, structured foundation. If they choose to return for Block 2, they go further — more technical depth, more creative complexity, and a finished body of work they're genuinely proud of.
Both programs align clearly with NDIS Capacity Building funding categories. We work directly with support coordinators to document outcomes, track progress, and ensure every session earns its place in the participant's plan.
